Credit markets have become more complex and the cost of liquidity has increased. The emergence of passive investors in credit and the sensitivity of certain institutions to credit ratings, for example, have the potential to create periods of market dislocation, as we experienced in early 2016, late 2018 and early 2020. Fair Oaks’ specialist resources and nimbleness are ideally suited to allow the firm to take advantage of these opportunities on behalf of investors.
