Graduate Role – Marketing and Investor Relations Analyst

14 April 2026

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to join the marketing and investor relations team of Fair Oaks Capital, a leading independent investment manager specialising in corporate credit, managing c.$4 billion, with operations in London and New York.

The role is designed to provide a strong foundation in investor relations within an investment management environment. The successful candidate will learn quickly through close interaction with the investment, marketing and investor relations teams, while contributing to day-to-day outputs.

The role will also involve working with AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude), with the expectation that the successful candidate will contribute to their practical application within investor relations and marketing workflows.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Your responsibilities will be structured around three core areas:

  1. Learning and Information Integration
  • Building an understanding of the firm’s strategies, portfolios and positioning through team discussions, internal materials and direct interaction with the Investment Team
  • Keeping up to date with relevant information across the firm and ensuring this is reflected consistently in materials
  • Synthesising information from multiple sources into clear, structured outputs, using both traditional methods and AI tools where appropriate
  1. Content Production and Data Management
  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of marketing and investor materials (reports, presentations and written content), increasingly using AI tools to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Maintaining and updating internal databases and records, sourcing information from internal teams and external providers
  • Checking data and content with relevant team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
  1. Process Development and Use of AI
  • Working with the team to incorporate AI tools/connectors into investor relations and marketing workflows in a structured way
  • Helping to develop simple templates, prompts and processes to improve consistency and reduce manual work
  • Learning how to use these tools effectively in an environment where accuracy and judgement are critical

Over time, there will be the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, including more direct involvement in investor-facing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree; previous exposure to financial services or asset management is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Languages will be a plus

AI capability and mindset (core requirement):

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar, with evidence of regular, practical and effective use
  • Ability to use these tools in a structured way (e.g. drafting, summarising, refining content), with an understanding that outputs require review and verification
  • Willingness to experiment and learn how to integrate these tools into day-to-day workflows in investor relations and asset management

Personal attributes:

  • Curious and willing to learn quickly
  • Comfortable working closely with others and asking questions where needed
  • Organised and able to prioritise work under time pressure
  • Professional, positive and proactive

Benefits:

We offer a competitive reward package which includes, in addition to your starting salary:

  • Bonus: most employees are eligible to participate in our bonus scheme, based on company and personal performance
  • Payment of preparation, exam and membership fees for professional courses or qualifications
  • Private medical insurance, including dental insurance
